Raphael has always been interested in the impact technology has on financial markets. He started his career as a banker at Sal. Oppenheim. After brief spells at Rocket Internet and the German Finance Ministry, he co-founded and exited his own company, Covee. A PhD-level economist, he now works for a fintech. Raphael has been a member of the German board of 2DII since 2016.
