Since the signing of the Paris Agreement, there has been a growing number of climate-related financial sector initiatives, from the UN Race to Net Zero campaign, the Glasgow Finance Alliance for Net-Zero (GFANZ), and the Net-Zero Asset Owners Alliance. In this context, UNEP-FI, together with partners including the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and UN Principles for Responsible Investment, is organizing a series of webinars titled UNEP-FI’s Financial Partnerships in the Race to Net Zero Emissions.
The second webinar on the Net Zero Asset Owners Alliance will take place on 23 November, featuring a presentation from 2DII’s Nayra Herrera on PACTA for Investors, plus speakers from WWF, Santander, and more.
The objective of the series is to analyze these partnerships’ contributions to the Race to Net Zero, as well as to share participants’ motivations, progress achieved and challenges they still face.
